Program Now Available

Our program is now available. You’ll find an excellent combination of presentations by instructors, instructional designers, eLearning Directors and professionals from Instructure. Topics will cover basics such as using Modules and building your home page to advanced characteristics of LTI integration and hacking the user interface.

Beginners will want to attend the Workshop Just For Newbies on Thursday morning.

While this program is currently in Google Docs, we’ll have a pdf version shortly.

Program To Be Released Soon

We are getting our final approvals for the program and hope to release it soon. We’ll have sessions appropriate for all knowledge levels including an introductory workshop given by Instructure and advanced sessions for those wanting to see and use advanced features. During most of the conference, you’ll have up to four sessions to choose from, so that there will be plenty of choices. Check back soon.

WACUG Conference 2013

The inaugural Washington Canvas User Group Conference will be held on March 28 & 29, 2013 at Tacoma Community College. This first meeting will consider “Canvas as a Community” where we will share our knowledge and experience with this exciting new platform.

Proposals for presentations are being accepted until January 27, 2013. We expect to publish our program and begin registration in early February.
